30th Birthday T-Shirt Project
For my 30th birthday, my friend and I decided to do a pub crawl with t-shirts for each participant. We ended up printing nearly 30 t-shirts which were both fun and challenging! In the end, they turned out to be so wonderful. It's the best keepsake I could have asked for.

Original logo sketch

The design for this shirt started with a silly little sketch. I liked the idea of the letters being little people moving on their world tour. I recreated this in Illustrator and we ran with it!
We used a Cricut to cut out the design into 2 pieces- well, 3 including the back. Finding the right quality vinyl for this was key! Then we weeded out what we didn't need, stuck the vinyl to the screens, taped the rest of it off and we were ready to print. We breezed through the yellow layer and then hit a snag when it came to the grey layer. We ended up letting the yellow dry and revisiting the grey layer at a later date, Starting fresh was a great idea. Once we remembered to use mylar to help line up the second layer it was all good! This took us 2 days but I think it was worth it.  Such a fun project.
