This job was really fun to pull together. Ryk was very easy and fun to work with. It was easy to communicate my ideas with him over email and he picked the idea I liked best, which is always nice! Cornerstone painting is a painting company that loves to express what they love. Ryk’s passion for baseball was important here, as well as showing a small piece of his faith.

The winning concept was called “Major League”. My pitch to Ryk for this idea: “Inspired by the MLB, this logo has the potential to set you apart and showcase your passion for the sport all at once. The emphasis on the wording and small detail of the paintbrush will allow people to tell what you do at a glance, while the style of the lettering matched with the ball diamond in the background makes clear your passion for the sport bringing to mind the things that go along with the passion like teamwork, determination, and trust.”
This job was challenging, and I spent a lot of time perfecting it. I think it is pretty successful. The client is happy and I’m glad I got to flex some creative muscles by fusing two worlds.
