It's me, hi
Growing up on Vancouver Island has given me a deep appreciation for the world around me. It has shown me its beauty time and time again I'm so lucky to live in a place that inspires me every day.
Previously, I spent 6 years at VIU in Nanaimo. 2 years attaining my Diploma in Visual Arts, and 4 years for my Degree in Graphic Design. I worked tirelessly at refining my skills and developing high-quality solutions to all design problems. I was able to learn technical, organizational, presentation, and communication skills, along with an understanding of basic design principles, design/art history, and much more.
My experience within a print shop has been more valuable to me than I ever expected. I find my ability to easily place myself in my client’s shoes and see their perspectives allows me to create effective and thoughtful solutions to their problems.
I'm currently taking a break from graphic design in an office administration position. This has given me time to be creative in other ways and I've learned a lot! I've been drawing and creating gifts, and I even joined a pottery class! I'm happy to always be learning and creating new things and helping people wherever possible.
